Community Involvement

We value philanthropy as a way to make a significant impact in the greater Boston community. Parallel to the professional work we do in financial services, we strongly believe that our support and resources can help inspire children and families to realize their dreams and provide crucial help to those who are in need.

Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children and adolescents in the United States.  Yet financial support for childhood cancer research remains vastly underfunded.  We’re on a mission to change that. We’re partnering with the Northwestern Mutual Foundation and our non-profit partner Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to raise critical dollars for research.

We’re working to accelerate the search for cures for childhood cancer and to provide support for families fighting the disease. Since 2012, our employees and financial representatives have spearheaded fundraising events – like lemonade stands, golf outings, March Madness, and stair climbs – to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research and support working with Alex's Lemonade.

Horizons for Homeless Children is an organization that is near and dear to our Boston office and Managing Partner Aaron Miller. The organization's mission is to improve the lives of young homeless children in Massachusetts and help families succeed by providing high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services.
